I had to decide between the gateway LT3103u, the Dell Inspiron 11z, and Acer 1410. In the end I chose the Acer for the value of most bang for the buck. I did yesterday, and after 5 years of using a Mac, I am very impressed. It works well and I can run multiple applications simultaneously. It is super light and beautiful. It is recommended to adjust the touchpad, so as not to drag around in an accident, and the keyboard is a bit 'to adapt (it is flat and slightly smaller than a reg. Keyboard). actual performance is a little underwhelming ', but that's OK, because it is ultra portable notebook. Powered by Core microprocessor alone and in collaboration with Intel GMA graphics 4500hd this machine can handle Vista Home Premium relatively easy (but I can not wait for Windows 7). DVD playback is excellent and the notebook comes with Power DVD. All you need is an external drive and some movies =).
